What I’m reading this Christmas: nudges, networks and a bit of Dilbert

enterprise social champion reading a book

The Christmas break is a good time to catch up on some reading. Here’s what I’m trying to finish reading this Christmas, in case you’re interested (I think most of these books do have a link to social collaboration and enterprise social networks..).

Inside the Nudge Unit: How Small Changes Can Make a Big Difference by David Halpern.
(Change agent types – this is a book for you!)
If you have read Nudge by Cass Sunstein and Richard Thaler, and shame on you if you haven’t, then I think you should read this real world example of applying behavioural economics (i.e. social psychology) in practice.
Thinking, fast and slow by Daniel Kahneman
I’ve been reading this influential book for about a year. Time to finish it.
Mixed reviews, but his previous book “The Black Swan” was eye-opening.
Re-reading it. (A good intro read if you want to understand networks better).
If I have time:
Because Scott Adams recommended it to me on Twitter (of course he did) and because I like how he combines his interest and experience in business and organisational life with mediocre drawing skills (which results in Dilbert, the comic strip).
